Chris Pageau started Geau Sport in 2020 with tennis bags. It's a family-owned company in Greenville, South Carolina, and it now makes backpacks for tennis and pickleball, sold direct at geausport.com and through racquet-sport retailers.

Geau doesn't make paddles. I've been using the Verve Pickleball Backpack.

The Lineup

In May 2026, Pageau announced Geau was retiring its Axiom series in favor of the Verve, which comes in a tennis version and a pickleball version. The pickleball Verve holds four paddles in a rear sleeve.

How Geau Designs Bags

Geau says its current collection uses 100% recycled fabrics. Its bags are built around fewer compartments, and most pickleball bags around $190 go the other way, with a dedicated pocket for everything. I prefer Geau's approach, but if you like every accessory sorted into its own pocket, the lineup may feel sparse.

Price and Guarantee

The Verve Pickleball Backpack is $189.95. Register it and Geau's Last Bag Guarantee covers materials and workmanship for life. Geau also gives you a 60-day trial with free shipping and returns in the contiguous U.S.

Geau doesn't do codes, but this link will save you 10% at geausport.com.
